EmploymentWorks Canada

Registration is now open for the Fall Program Session!

Abilities Centre is pleased to offer an exciting employment preparedness training program for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) called EmploymentWorks Canada.
EmploymentWorks Canada is one of three new Worktopia programs that have been designed to improve the employment futures of young adults with ASD. It is a 14-week employment preparedness training program for young adults ages 15 to 29 who are no longer attending school and are seeking opportunities to develop the skills necessary to obtain meaningful and sustainable paid employment. The program incorporates peer and co-worker support and uses adult learning principles to develop and practice social, communication and employment skills in a variety of workplace settings and teams.
The Fall 2017 session of EmploymentWorks is currently full. Our next session will run during Winter 2018 & will take place at the Durham College/UOIT campus. Please contact us to add your name to the Winter 2018 waitlist. Thank you for your interest in the program.

There is currently no charge to participate in the program.

If you are interested in learning more about EmploymentWorks Canada, please contact Catie Brunner, Program Coordinator at 905-665-8500 ext. 117, or e-mail CBrunner@abilitiescentre.org
