Employment Works Canada

Registration is now open for the Spring/Summer Program Session!

Abilities Centre is pleased to offer an exciting new employment preparedness training program for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) called EmploymentWorks Canada.
EmploymentWorks Canada is one of three new Worktopia programs that have been designed to improve the employment futures of young adults with ASD. It is a 14-week employment preparedness training program for young adults ages 15 to 29 who are no longer attending school and are seeking opportunities to develop the skills necessary to obtain meaningful and sustainable paid employment. The program incorporates peer and co-worker support, and uses adult learning principles to develop and practice social, communication and employment skills in a variety of workplace settings and teams. The Spring/Summer 2017 session of Employment Works is currently full. The next session will run in Fall 2017. Please email or call the Program Supervisor to reserve a spot on the waitlist. Intake for the Fall session will be completed in August 2017. Thank you for your interest in the program.

There is currently no charge to participate in the program.
